the park used milled waste to pave the roads, and recycled timbre as fence posts.
greeted by lush greenery all around but watch out for falling trees and branches!look! there's even a mountain biking trail!

the reserve! it felt very relaxing to be there, just enjoying the peace and scenery.

some species of birds that are settlers or migrants to the reserve. we saw the little grebe(looks a bit like a duck, and frequently dips under the water) and the white bellied sea eagle. but of course, they moved too fast, and my camera wasn't up to the task of photographing them.

see the little red spot? seems to be a dragonfly resting, but don't take my word that it's a dragonfly, since i'm no naturalist.
i managed a shot up close! yay!we enjoyed ourselves! but the weather was really hot!
unbelievably, there are some flowers that wake up later than we did. we only saw these on our way back past noon.

unfortunately this cricket is already a spider's lunch, suspended from a spiderweb.
i felt a sense of accomplishment having photographed this bee.lalang! and a curly-wurly plant lol
time to go home! the umbrella we carried was totally not used, except for posing in photos.
attempted to copy people to take a photo of our shadows, but perhaps the sun was shining at the wrong angle, so this photo came out poorly!<3简单的幸福
